Terms & Conditions

We provide professional therapy and coaching services to individuals, couples, families, and groups. By engaging with our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

  • Our services are available in person and online, offering flexibility based on your needs.

  • Therapy is a collaborative process, and while it can be transformative, we do not guarantee specific outcomes.

  • Our services are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric intervention. If you are in crisis, we encourage you to seek immediate support from emergency services or a crisis helpline.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a private, confidential space for online sessions. We use encrypted platforms to maintain security.

Booking, Cancellations & Refunds

  • Sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to therapist availability.

  • Cancellation Policy: We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be subject to the full session fee.

  • Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise agreed.

  • Workshops, retreats, and group sessions may have additional terms regarding cancellation and refunds, which will be specified upon registration.

Ethical & Professional Standards

We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of ethical and professional practice. Our therapists adhere to the codes of conduct set by their governing bodies, including but not limited to:

  • BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy)

  • UKCP (UK Council for Psychotherapy)

  • HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council)

  • EMDR Association UK (where applicable)

All therapists participate in regular supervision and professional development to ensure best practice and uphold ethical guidelines.

Online Therapy Disclaimer

  • Online therapy can be a highly effective option, but it is not suitable for everyone. If we assess that in-person support or specialist services are more appropriate, we will discuss alternative recommendations with you.

  • Clients are responsible for ensuring they have a stable internet connection and a secure, private space for sessions.

  • While we take all reasonable measures to ensure confidentiality, we cannot be held responsible for breaches of privacy due to factors beyond our control (e.g., device security, third-party internet providers).

Liability Disclaimer

  • Our therapists and practitioners provide services in accordance with professional ethical guidelines. However, we do not accept liability for any decisions clients make based on therapy, coaching, or workshops.

  • Participation in therapy, coaching, or group sessions is voluntary. Any personal insights, emotional processing, or actions taken as a result of therapy are the client’s responsibility.

  • We are not responsible for any third-party services referenced or recommended within therapy sessions.

Accessibility & Inclusivity

We are committed to making therapy as accessible as possible. If you have specific accessibility needs, please let us know in advance so we can discuss any adjustments that may be required. Our online services are available internationally, ensuring support is accessible regardless of location.

Complaints & Feedback

We strive to provide a high standard of service. If you have any concerns or complaints, we encourage open communication.

  • First Step: Raise your concerns directly with your therapist or practitioner.

  • Formal Complaints: If the issue remains unresolved, please contact our Practice Manager & Care Coordinator to discuss your concerns in confidence.

  • If necessary, you may escalate complaints to the relevant professional body governing your therapist’s practice (e.g., BACP, UKCP, HCPC).
