Existential Psychotherapist MA, MBACP

Gia Denis

At the heart of my work is the belief that everyone has the innate capacity for self-determination—the ability to make meaningful choices and shape their own lives. My approach is human-hearted, collaborative, and grounded in existential philosophy, helping clients explore what it truly means to be themselves.

Therapy is a space to listen to what you may already know but have struggled to hear. It’s about making sense of your experiences, uncovering what holds you back, and finding a way forward that feels authentic.

Saying “yes” to ourselves—fully and without hesitation—can be a lifelong challenge, especially in a world that often pushes us in other directions. This is why I welcome long-term, open-ended therapy, allowing us to work at a pace that feels right for you.

The quality of the therapeutic relationship is central to meaningful change. My role is to provide a space where you can explore your vulnerabilities, develop resilience, and gain new perspectives on life’s challenges. Each person’s experience of therapy is unique, and I tailor my approach to reflect that.

“I tore myself away from the safe comfort of certainties through my love for truth – and truth rewarded me”

— Simone De Beauvoir
